We rely on wood, laminates, and composites for some of our most hardwearing surfaces in the home, from our countertops to our flooring, and our IKEA furniture on top.
I repair all damage to wood, laminates, and melamine surfaces, including burns, chips, delamination and swelling due to water ingress.
All repairs are expertly colour matched by hand for a bespoke and delicate finish.

Ceramics are naturally difficult to repair, and require professional tools and knowledge. Riverbend can repair chips and cracks in baths, sinks, toilets, shower trays, printed ceramics, and solid colour tiles. I provide spot and chip repairs for sanitaryware made of porcelain.
I also provide resin injection services for hollow tiles and tiles with poor subfloor adhesion.

Riverbend repairs all damage to worktops and countertops, including laminate, quartz, Corian, granite, porcelain, and natural stone.
The repair materials are chosen for each specific job, and take into account all factors such as the level of expected wear, the structural importance, and the heat and water conditions the repair will have to sustain.
All repairs are expertly colour matched by hand for a bespoke and delicate finish.

FAQs

The finish of every repair is different and depend on a lot of factors such as lighting and viewing angle. My stated goal is to repair to a standard so a guest wouldn’t notice, only those who know it was there could see it. Wood and laminate repairs involve carefully matching the grain, colour, and sheen of the surrounding surface by hand.

Yes. Delamination and water swelling are among the most common jobs I do. As long as the substrate beneath is structurally sound, the surface can be stabilised and refinished.
-
Yes, and it's one of the most common reasons people call. Whether you're a tenant arranging a repair, or a landlord turning around a property between lets, a repair is almost always faster and cheaper than replacement.
